Rule One: Why the Ways Count Keeps Changing

The board has 6 reels of 5 rows, plus an extra horizontal reel sitting on top of reels 2 to 5. Symbols on the main reels can be tall, filling 2, 3 or 4 spaces. The fewer, taller symbols a reel shows, the fewer ways there are.

That is why the counter moves between 2,025 and 32,400 ways from one spin to the next. You do not control it; it simply reflects how the symbols landed.

Rule Two: Wilds-On-The-Way in Treasures of Aztec

On reels 2 to 5, a tall symbol sometimes wears a silver frame. If it wins, it does not disappear; after the cascade it becomes a random symbol with a gold frame. If that gold-framed symbol wins again, it turns into a Wild.

So a Wild here is earned over two wins in the same spin. Wilds only appear on reels 2 to 5 and replace everything except the Scatter.

Rule Three: A Multiplier That Adds Up

Each paid spin starts at x1, and every winning cascade adds 1. The steps are gentle: x2, x3, x4 and so on for as long as the chain lasts.
